This weekend...

was APACHE conference! It's a conference to encourage and strengthen parents as they home-school! It started on Friday at noon and there were several sessions. Some of the speakers were, Todd Wilson, (as the key-note speaker) Janice Price, Tim Kaufman and many more! There was also time to shop for the upcoming school year. But we had to leave early because my mom's sister was coming up from TX and wanted to stop by, it was very short notice, but we were glad to have her! On Saturday, it started around 9:00 and there were numerous other speakers. We especially enjoyed Dr. Kaufman about nutrition and health. We are trying to get dad moving more. :) And of course more shopping!

The weather we are having is gorgeous!! After a long winter I am really happy and enjoying this weather! Already some of the flowers are popping-up and everything is starting to look alive again! :)

A way over due post...

It has been a really long time since anyone has posted on this blog! After Sierra got her blog nobody in our family really had the time to do it. SO Sierra asked me if I would like to take it over...so I hope that maybe I can keep up with it! :)

Update...

Hi! So now that you know I have a blog, I'm really not sure who will be keeping up with this one, my parents don't really want to mess with it, since they aren't really "computer savvy" Hopefully one of us will try to teach our parents how to blog. :) So until then!!

Quick post...

Well, this weekend is the Presbytery Meeting that will be held here in Peoria IL. Unfortunately though, we will not be able to make it for Thursdays events and will only be able to go to Fridays event for some little time. The reason? Choir. The choir "dress-rehearsal" and concert will be the same nights...Our family was pretty bummed about that, especially since my my dad was supposed to throw the first pitch at the game. :) BUT, I do believe we will spend Saturday evening at our dear friends the Evans...Which of course is always a *blast*!

As for me, I think I shall go mow, and then finish school... Have a great weekend! :D
